LeAnn Rimes 'Wants Little Girl Badly,' Says Eddie Cibrian (VIDEO)

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian laughed off divorce reports in a recent interview and the couple revealed their desire to have children.

The country music star, 31, found herself at the center of divorce rumors in October when a US tabloid claimed she and Cibrian, 41, were divorcing after two years of marriage. The couple denied the reports and revealed that they are happier than ever and eager to have a baby girl.

"It was just so ludicrous," Cibrian told Extra's Mario Lopez. "It said something to the effect like I would text [ex-wife Brandi Glanville] all the time whenever LeAnn and I are having a fight or something like that, and you know, that's not true."

Rimes also weighed in on the divorce reports and laughed off one particular rumor.

"I lock myself in closets when I'm drunk," Rimes said laughing.

The couple shares custody of Cibrian's two sons with Glanville, 40, and they revealed their desire to expand their family.

"We work on it often," Rimes said with Cibrian adding "She wants a little girl, badly."

Rimes and Cibrian were at the center of controversy in 2009 when their extramarital affair came to light. The "Spitfire" singer was married to Dean Sheremet when she got involved with Cibrian, who was married to Glanville.

The couple recently began filming their very own reality TV show which will give fans a glimpse into their lives as a married couple.

"A lot of people assume that they know who we are because of what they read in the tabloids and all that fodder," Cibrian explained. "And we wanted to give them a glimpse into the opposite side of all of that, into our personality."

Rimes, who has previously dabbled in acting, described working with her actor husband as "fun."

"Yes, it is happening. We've had a lot of fun. I mean, it's nice to work together," Rimes said of the upcoming show.

"We don't fight on set. I've heard some crazy rumors about what happens on set with us, but we really have had a great time. You get a real sense of our lives and the normalcy," she added.
