LeBron James' Wife Savannah Pregnant; Expecting Baby Girl

LeBron James and his wife Savannah are reportedly expecting their third child together.

Miami Heat president Pat Riley confirmed the news Thursday during a press meeting and it appears as though the couple is expecting a baby girl. LeBron, 29, and Savannah, 28, already share two sons together: LeBron Jr. (aka Bronny) born Oct. 6, 2004, and Bryce born June 14, 2007.

"Savannah now is going to have a little baby girl to join her in the fight against the two boys and LeBron, which she needs," Riley told reports.

Both LeBron and Savannah are keeping the pregnancy news private and it is unclear how far along the mother-of-two is.

Fans took to social networking site Twitter to congratulate the couple on their baby news.

"Congratulations to LeBron and Savannah on your baby news! Beautiful family," one user tweeted.

"Wow a girl? Congrats to the James fam. So happy for you guys," another fans wrote.

"Oh I can't wait to see this baby! No doubt she will be cute #congrats #heatfan," another tweet read.

In February, unconfirmed reports claimed Savannah was expecting her third child, however, there was no official confirmation at the time.

The pregnancy news comes nine months after the four-time NBA MVP married Savannah in a private ceremony in San Diego. The couple, who got engaged in 2011, wed before family and friends before jetting off to Europe for their honeymoon.

"When u have someone that's always there for you no matter the ups and downs in life, it makes it all worth living for! So happy to call u Mrs. Savannah James #MyQueen#Backbone#QueenJames#Honeymoon," LeBron captioned in an Instagram photo.

Prior to their wedding day, the pair had been romantically involved for close to a decade and LeBron previously gushed about his wife.

"I just think she has a knack for being powerful," the Heat star once said. "Women are more powerful than men. Her voice and her being my sidekick, her voice is very powerful."
