Lecrae is scheduled to perform at this year's Rock the Bells hip-hop festival that will also feature veteran acts such as the Wu-Tang Clan and Rakim.

The line-up for the festival was released today along with the dates as Rock the Bells will kick off at the Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, California on Sept. 14 and 15.

"We have curated a multi-generational line-up that includes the best and brightest artists in the genre," said Chang Weisberg, owner and founder of Guerilla Union the company that puts on Rock the Bells. "It's is not great hip-hop music. It's great music, period. It's a collection of artists who represent, respect and recognize everything that Rock the Bells ... has accomplished in its storied history"

The main attraction at this year's event will be the reunited Wu-Tang Clan, who will be celebrating their 20th anniversary on stage with the digital representation of their fallen comrade, ODB. The first ever Rock the Bells festival in 2004 was one of the last times the entire group performed together. ODB died shortly after and the group drifted apart over the years.

This year's festival will also feature a digital rendering of Easy E, who died in 1994 from HIV/AIDS.

"This is not only a dream come true for fans but for me as well," said Weisberg. "I would have never dreamt of the day, nor the technology, for this to come to fruition. Thanks to Dr. John Acunto and his team at Gig-It, they are going to help bring these two legendary rappers back to life."
