LG Exclusively Launches L5000 Smartphone in South Korea, Specs Include 5.9-Inch Display, 3,000mAh Battery, Android Lollipop

South Korean tech giant LG is on the roll with releasing new devices. With the LG G5 as its flagship device and star during the Mobile World Congress 2016, the company has recently launched the K7 LTE and K10 LTE smartphones in India. And now, LG has introduced to the public its newest smartphone called the LG L5000.

According to a report by Phone Radar, the device, which has a model number F590, is a mid-ranger that has been launched exclusively in South Korea. It is not known though if it will be made available to other international markets. However, plenty of its specs and features have been revealed already. In a report by Android Geeks, the LG L5000 will be carrying a 5.9-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels.

The source also noted that the device appears similar to the LG G3. It comes with the same physical button that is located on its back side and the volume rocker on the reverse of the handset. The overall design is noted to be alike as well. Phones Review also detailed that under the hood of the device is a 1.5GHz Nuclun GH14 octa-core processor. It is paired with 2 GB of RAM and comes with 32 GB of internal memory that can be expanded via microSD card slot. It also includes a 3,000mAh battery which is claimed to provide power to the device up to 385 hours on standby and 22 hours of talk time.

As for its operating system, the device is pre-installed with Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. It is also said to be topped with the customized UX UI. Its camera specs include a 13-megapixel primary camera with laser autofocus, OIS+, and LED flash. Meanwhile, on the front is a 2-megapixel camera.

As of the moment, there is no price revealed yet for the device so fans from South Korea who are interested to pick up the LG L5000 will have to stay tuned for updates.
