LG G4 News: Big Reveal on April 28

South Korean smartphone maker LG is making big deal of its big unveiling of its next flagship phone, the LG G4. Invites have been sent out to an unveiling event on April 28 and 29 in multiple locations. This includes New York, London and Paris on April 28 and Seoul, Singapore and Istanbul on April 29.

According to a report in Android Authority, the invite looks like the leather cover of a notebook with the tagline: "See the Great, Feel the Great." The "G" uses the same font as the LG G Series logo. The report also speculated on what the invite and its visual elements may signify. The leatherette cover may refer to a possible material that it may use in its new phone or a higher end version of it.

The reference to "seeing" and "feeling" may also refer to an entirely new design, like the possible use of metal more than plastic. All this however, the report reiterates is pure speculation.

Nothing is confirmed when it comes to the phone's specifications. In addition to the usual size, some rumors say that LG may also come out with a premium G4 note to rival the Samsung Galaxy Note. The same report is also saying that LG may opt to use the "premium metallic build" with the G4 Note and still use the same plastic build for the LG G4.

In terms of specifications, rumors have it that the new phone will probably have a QHD screen, with a screen size of at least 5.1 or 5.2 inches. It will still have the LG rear-button set-up. It will be powered by an Octacore Snapdragon 810 at 3GHz. Internal storage will come in two variants: 3G RAM with 32G internal storage and 4G RAM with 64G internal storage. The rear-facing camera will be 20MP while the selfie camera will be 5.1MP. Battery capacity may be between 3500mAh to 4000mAh.
