LG V10 Specs Rumors: Rocks Two Screens and Two Front Cameras

Meet the LG V10, the first phone in the "V" line of phones recently announced by the Korean phone manufacturer. What is unique about this new smartphone is that it rocks two screens and two front-facing cameras, according to a Tech Times report, a first for smartphones. The device was unveiled in September.

Spec-wise, the phone has the same specifications as LG's recently released flagship, the LG G4. Under the hood, it has a 1.8 GHz hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, but the V10 has an extra 1 GB of RAM compared to the G4. It comes with 64 GB of internal storage, with expandable memory up to 200 GB through a microSD card.

When it comes to the phone's display however, it comes with not just one but two screens. The phone's primary display is a 5.7-inch screen with a 2,560 x 1,440-pixel resolution. Its second display is a 2-inch screen with 1,040 by 160-pixel resolution which is "always on" and displays information such as time, weather and power level. It may also contain shortcuts to frequently used apps and easy access to information such as contacts. It is likened to the edge display of the Samsung S6 and Note Edge and it remains on even if the main screen is turned off.

The other unique feature of the device is the dual 5-megapixel camera which is found on the front of the device, making it more attractive for selfie lovers. These cameras have different fields of view – one has 120 degrees, while another has 80 degrees and both cameras can be used to take 3D photos. Both cameras can also take simultaneous photos using software that is available on the phone.

Among its other specifications are a 3,000 mAh battery and a fingerprint sensor that is found in the power button of the device. Its rear-facing camera is a 16-megapixel one. It comes pre-installed with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

LG has not revealed the phone's pricing but some reports are saying to expect it to be the same price range as the iPhone 6S Plus which goes for $700.
