New head coach Luke Walton has expressed his approval of the Lakers' pre-season performance after their loss to the Trail Blazers. Walton said, "We're doing a really good job of penetrating and putting pressure on defenses with little interior passes and trying to get downhill on things. But the weak side's wide open."
Warriors Pre-season Performance
The Golden State Warriors are currently 3-1 in their pre-season standing. They started off their pre-season with a loss to the Toronto Raptors. The final score of that game was 97-93. The third game was against the Sacramento Kings, which they won with a score of 105-96. Finally, in their latest pre-season game, the Warriors barely won against the Denver Nuggets, courtesy of rookie Patrick McCaw's heroics; first by hitting a long-distance three point shot to send the game to overtime, then a running floater buzzer beater to seal the game.
After the Los Angeles Lakers game on Saturday, the Warriors will face them again on October 19, 7:00 p.m. Wednesday. Finally, the Warriors will have a final pre-season match against the Portland Trail Blazers on October 21, 7:30 p.m. Friday.
