Reports have been emerging Apple's latest laptop is due to be unveiled in October, and is expected to be sporting two major upgrades from its predecessor.

The 2016 MacBook Air is said to be carrying Intel's latest Skylake-U processor, and the new GeForce GTX 950 Nvidia GPU, making it a very game-friendly device, as well as pack an improved performance and an extended battery life.

The new GPU will also offer gamers the GameStream Co-op, which Nvidia recently released Tuesday in the form of an early access beta. The GameStream feature will allow online gamers to stream local co-op games to their friends, and permit remote players to play via streaming, as well.

The 2016 MacBook Air will include its touted Retina display, Force Touch technology, USB Type-C support, and it is likely to hit shelves running on Apple's upcoming OS, the X El Capitan.
