Mackenzie Douthit 'Begging God to Make Things Better' During Pregnancy

"Teen Mom 3" star Mackenzie Douthit has had a lot of problems throughout her second pregnancy due to complications from type one diabetes. Now, though, Douthit is lacking sleep, which is causing emotional and physical stress, leading her to ask God for help.

"With all that I'm going through in life right now I have been up tell [sic] at least 5 a.m. every night usually crying myself to sleep and begging God to make things better," Douthit posted to her Facebook page. "I knew it wasn't good for the baby so I asked the doctor for sleeping medicine and he gave me some and sometimes they knock me right out sometimes I'm still up stressing and crying."

"When they do knock me out my blood sugar will bottom out, which suffocates the baby and I can't wake to eat. I haven't been hungry in forever and usually forget to eat two meals a day. I've lost 5 pounds but my stomach is growing by the hour," Douthit added.

Douthit has already been hospitalized with complications from her diabetes. She nearly passed out and had to spend some time in the hospital under her sugars were under control enough for her to leave. Doctors originally did not want Douthit to go through another pregnancy after the birth of her son, Gannon, due to the diabetes. Yet she wanted a big family and fully believed that God would take care of her and the unborn baby.

"I've reached my breaking point scared to bring a baby into this world with what's going on," Douthit wrote. "With all the praying I don't understand why God would put me through this. I don't do drugs I work I don't party I just live for God, my husband, and my kids."

Douthit and husband Josh McKee are expecting a baby girl this time and are thrilled to welcome her into the family and introduce her to big brother Gannon.
