'Madam Secretary' Season 2 Episode 7 Spoilers: Elizabeth McCord Tries Restoring Relations With Cuba

American political drama television series "Madam Secretary" is going to go on a different direction in their next episode as they take a break from the ISIS and Russia storylines. According to Christian Today, episode 7 will have the characters turn their focus on renewing relations with Cuba.

It will involve Elizabeth McCord (Tèa Leoni) doing everything in her power to get the support of the Senate in lifting the trade embargo between the United States and Cuba. She will be making sure that the trade to the Caribbean island nation will be feasible. She will also be personally overseeing and negotiating the whole deal.

And as mentioned in the synopsis found in Cartermatt, President Dalton (Keith Carradine) will be giving his support to McCord and backs her up in her bid to convince the assembly. McCord's move can either make history by making the impossible possible or it may cause an even bigger problem. The result of her bid will be revealed soon but Latin Post reported a spoiler saying that the Senate will not agree with her plans and it may be a partisan thing.

The synopsis also said that Henry (Tim Daly) and Alison (Katherine Herzer) will enjoy a fun father and daughter bonding as they go around the streets of the well-preserved Spanish colonial architecture of Havana.

Aside from the issue with the relations with Cuba, the show will also touch on Elizabeth's separate mission. As seen in the promo released, the Secretary of State will try to arrest a woman who is pointed to be a suspect in the shooting of a police officer 40 years ago. She wants to bring her back to the country so that she can serve her sentence. But the woman, after several years, maintains her statement that she did not kill anyone.

"Madam Secretary" season 2 episode 7 will be titled "You Say You Want a Revolution" and will air on CBS on Nov. 15 at 8:30 p.m. EST.
