Glamour magazine reported that Madonna also spoke with BBC's Norton about a rumored rivalry with Lady Gaga.

"When I first saw her [Gaga] I was really impressed by her and she was cool," said Madonna. "She did remind me of back in the day, I do think she is very talented."

The interview will air on BBC Friday.

"M.D.N.A." will be Madonna's first album since leaving Warner Bros. Records and joining Interscope in an all-encompassing deal with LiveNation.

In addition to the interview on "Graham Norton," CNN's "Nightline" is set to air a "candid and revealing" interview with Madonna on Thursday.

The "Material Girl" singer has maintained a busy work schedule, and is also making her directorial debut in "W.E."

Madonna's romantic drama follows the affair between King Edward VIII and American divorcee Wallis Simpson, as well as a modern romance between a married woman and a Russian guard.

Of her first project as a director, Madonna told Radio Times that she is "nervous" and that she hopes the film does well.

"I'm well aware that everything I say and do is judged with a different measuring stick to most other people," explained the singer.

"I'm under the magnifying glass in a way that other people aren't, but I can also use that. I can influence people… I hope it [the film] finds an audience."

"W.E." premieres in U.K. theaters Jan. 20. In the U.S., the film will debut Feb. 3. Watch the trailer here.

For her musical work, Madonna has been entered into the book of Guinness World Records as the world's top-selling female recording artist of all time. In addition to singing and directing, Madonna is also a Golden Globe Award-winning actress.

Madonna will perform during the Super Bowl XLVI halftime show on Feb. 5.
