Manchester United will take on Tottenham on Sunday in the English Premier League with Spurs hoping to spring a surprise with home advantage against the EPL leaders. The game is scheduled to kick off at 4 p.m. UK time and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).

In bad news for Spurs Sandro is likely out for the rest of the season following his knee injury, but Scott Parker should claim a starting spot and take his place.

Emmanuel Adebayor will be sorely missed as he has left for the Africa Cup of Nations, and will not be available today for Tottenham.

With Jonny Evans still out for Manchester United then Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic will continue as they were in the Reds' defense.

Following Manchester City's win yesterday United are not just four points clear at the top of the EPL table. However, they have a game in hand, and if they win here today against Spurs they would re-open the seven point gap.

But this will be one of United's sternest challenges of the season remaining; Spurs are unbeaten in their last seven games in all competitions and playing on front of their White Hart Lane fans they will be a difficult prospect.

In 12 league games Spurs have conceded just 11 goals, and when you consider that five of those came against Arsenal in just one match, they have in fact conceded just six if the other 11 games. They are a team usually difficult to break down, and unless Manchester United can copy the Gunners and split the Spurs defense consistently then this will surely be a close game.

Tottenham defeated United in September for the first time in 27 games, and ended their 23 years without a win at Old Trafford. They will be looking to complete the double against the table topping side today.

However, Tottenham also have to rewrite some history today if they are to win. Even at White Hart Lane they have not beaten United since May 2001, and they have not completed the home and away double against United since the 1989-90 season.
