Singer Mariah Carey has paid a touching tribute to her late friend and fellow singer Whitney Houston on YouTube.
Carey also posted the video, which shows the two friends in clips laughing, singing, and hugging on her Twitter page.
"RemeberingWhitney… Whitney, my friend, I love you, I miss you. Your legend lives on forever," the singer wrote.
The death of the famous singer sent shock waves throughout the world when she was found submerged in a bathtub in her Beverly Hills Hilton Hotel room on Feb. 11. Houston was staying at the hotel to attend a pre-Grammy party hosted by friend and mentor Clive Davis.
Upon the news of Houston's death, Carey took to her Twitter page to express her grief.
"Heartbroken and in tears over the shocking death of my friend, the incomparable Ms. Whitney Houston. My heartfelt condolences to Whitney's family and to all her millions of fans throughout this world. She will never be forgotten as one of the greatest voices to ever grace the earth," the singer tweeted.
Whitney Houston's cause of death remains unknown as investigators are waiting for autopsy results to be completed, which could take weeks.
Houston was laid to rest last weekend in her hometown of Newark, NJ. A slew of famous faces attended her funeral including Carey, former "Bodyguard" co-star Kevin Costner, rapper Jay-Z, singer Janet Jackson, and Stevie Wonder.
