Marriage Policy Reduces Divorce Rates

Founder of Marriage Savers Community Mike McManus presented the results of a divorce study, which shows that in the 114 counties where a Marriage Savers Community Policy exists, the divorce rates have decreased by 18 percent compared to 9 percent where the policy is not implemented. The ministry consisting of a clergy from all faiths, which counsels with couples before and after marrying them joined other organizations that battle divorce and marriage preservation met in Washington, D.C. met in Washington this week to discuss how to improve the institution of marriage.
