Pop-rock cross-over sensations MercyMe have hit mainstream success once again, as street week sales of the band’s fifth recording Coming Up To Breathe landed the album at No. 13 on the Billboard Top 200 Soundscan Charts this week.

The album, which sold over 58,000 units this past week, also entered at No. 1 on Billboard’s Contemporary Christian SoundScan chart and is at No. 25 on iTunes Today’s Top Albums list as well.

Along with album sales, Coming Up to Breathe has also been seeing success on the radio, with the album’s first single “So Long Self” taking the title of No. 1 most-added single on mainstream AC radio for the second week in a row. The single is currently sitting at No. 23 on the Billboard AC chart and No. 26 on the R&R AC chart in just 14 days.

"We have certainly felt a ground swell of support for this band and their new project on every level," remarked INO president Jeff Moseley. "Radio, media and retail have really come to the table to set this record up in a huge way, and for that we are truly grateful."

MercyMe is currently finishing out a mini-tour in promotion of Coming Up to Breathe with upcoming dates including shows in Wichita, Kan., and Tulsa, Okla.
