The Miami Dolphins and the Detroit Lions will clash on Sunday in a massive Week 10 match up in the NFL. Both teams will be relatively satisfied with how things have turned out after the first 9 weeks of the season, but know that they must maintain their push in the coming few months to ensure they claim the reward of a postseason berth for all their hard work until now. Today's game takes place at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan and starts at 1 p.m. ET. The game will be shown on TV on the CBS network or online through Direct TV live stream (details below).

The Detroit Lions come into this clash having lost just two games all season long. Their 6-2 record makes them one of the top teams in the league so far this season, and if they can consolidate their good work then they should be able to claim the NFC North division title.

However, they will know that the Green Bay Packers will be unrelenting in pushing them all the way, and if the Lions slip up then the Packers will be there to punish them. That will ensure the Lions will be going all out today to claim an important win over the Dolphins and keep the Packers at bay.

The Dolphins meanwhile have done excellently to be on 5-3 at this point in the season, but will know they need an extra 10-20 percent in the coming two months to claim their postseason berth.

They are currently tied on 5-3 with the Buffalo Bills for second spot in the AFC East. The stand out team in the division is of course the New England Patriots who are on 7-2, meaning the Dolphins may be fighting it out for a Wild Card spot.

That means a victory today is all the more important, as moving on to 6-3 will be a world of difference from falling to 5-4.
