Michael Jackson's Vocals Faked on Posthumous Album, Daughter Says No

Ever since the King of Pop released his posthumous album "Michael" there has been rumors that the vocals were from someone else.

There have been speculations that Jason Malachi actually performed vocals on some parts of the record which was presented as a compilation of unreleased Jackson tracks.

According to entertainment website TMZ.com, Jackson's daughter Paris expressed her doubts during a web chat which was recorded in 2010.

"It's not him … the whole album isn't even him!" TMZ says Paris Jackson said when asked why the main voice on "Hold My Hand" didn't sound exactly like the King of Pop. "Go online … go on YouTube and look up Jason Malachi. That's him [on the song]!"

This isn't the first time the Michael authenticity issue has been raised.

"The album ... is a hybrid creation," Huffington Post blogger and Michael Jackson expert Joe Vogel wrote. "At times it feels truly inspired and very close to what Michael himself would have done; at other times, it feels a bit more like a tribute."

Adding to conspiracy theorist claims that the King of Pop's tracks were not him was the fact that Malachi posted a confession on his Facebook page last year.

The post was removed shortly after and Malachi came out and publically denied the allegations. The singer claimed that someone had hacked Facebook page and was responsible for posting the wrong information.

But Paris quickly came to defend the integrity of her late father. She posted the denial on her Twitter account: "People should know by now not to believe the media when it comes down to TMZ talking about my family. #HoldMyHad IS my dad actually singing."

She has also made news for her acting aspirations. The 13-year-old was cast in her first big screen role back in December as Lundon O'Malley in "Lundon's Bridge And The Three Keys."
