Michelle Williams Clears Up Beyonce Feud Speculation

Michelle Williams is ready to address rumors about Beyonce Knowles.

Williams, the 33-year-old gospel singer who is touring the country in "Jesus Christ Superstar" while representing the Playtex campaign, seems to get her fair share of questions about her relationship with 32-year-old singer Beyonce. It seems she is ready to put that conversation to bed once and for all.

"Yes, to round it all out, we still support each other. We're still amazing friends," Williams recently told Time magazine. "Whether it's to support each other musically, or just personally, when we happen to be in the same city, so - I'll ask you a question. I just wanna know."

Still, Williams does not understand why people are so fascinated by her friendship with Beyonce. While some people prefer to read that the former "Destiny' Child" group members are feuding, she insists that is not the case.

"I'm so sorry to report - breaking news! We have very boring lives as far as that's concerned," Williams explained. "And once again, to even play off the Playtex campaign, to show togetherness and unity, you don't have to be catty, you don't have to be mean, you can support one another."

Earlier this year, Williams raised some eyebrows when she spoke about some embarrassment that she experienced when helping Beyonce record "Superpower" for the latter's recent album release.

"I was telling someone on the way here how I was laughing," Williams said according to Us Weekly. "I don't know if it's laughter of shyness or embarrassment because the makeup artist and everyone was listening to her say these things, and I'm like, 'That's private girl!'"

However, the gospel music singer clarified her statements on CBS' The Insider, insisting that she enjoys Beyonce's music despite people trying to sensationalize the story.

"What I meant was I would never say that [I was embarrassed] about my sister's work. She has a great body of work, an amazing catalogue … I love her work," Williams told The Insider previously.
