Is the Xbox One S Worthy to Replace its Predecessor?
Microsoft has recently released the higher end Xbox One S but the mid-range devices will come in a few weeks.
The Xbox One S which is slimmer but the priciest of all versions has been released August 2. The device in question is the console just on its own with no games or bundles included except for its bigger internal storage. Is it worth replacing the Xbox One?

Apart from its obvious color change of black to "Robot White," the Xbox One S has significant hardware and software upgrades that players and fans can notice. First of its noteworthy features is its 4K TV capability which can support ultra-HD graphics.

The Xbox One S is also a little smaller and can stand on its own because Microsoft has included a stand to put the console for when players want it to be aligned vertically if nothing but for aesthetics or placement as it is not necessary.
According to Polygon, the Xbox One S may be a little faster than its predecessor. It has a 7-11 percent boost when it comes to improving performance. Its external battery adaptor has been placed inside and the Xbox One S is reportedly quieter.
As for the Xbox One S controllers, Time reports that it has been upgraded as well. The pads are firmer and can now support Bluetooth for PCs with Windows 10.
Furthermore, the Xbox One S UI is a tiny bit more responsive but it may have been owed to the OS update for the Xbox One. Microsoft has ditched the Kinect functionality by omitting the port for the device in favor of a separately sold adapter than can be connected through a USB 3.0 cable. However, the good news is, the Xbox One S can function on its own without needing the Kinect.

Microsoft has announced that they will be releasing various versions of the Xbox One S. The recently released console is of 2TB capacity and is priced at $400 without any included games. It also has a 1TB version that is bundled with other games like the "Madden NFL 17 Bundle," "Halo Collection Bundle" and more, according to the Microsoft Store. This version is up for preorder and costs $350 for each bundle.
The Xbox One S 500GB version is also bundled with games and costs $300. Both non-2TB versions will come out on third week of August.
