Mila Kunis Comes to Justin Timberlake's Aid During Russian Press Conference

Mila Kunis, Ukrainian actress and star of “Friends With Benefits,” recently scolded a reporter at a press conference in Moscow for questioning co-star Justin Timberlake’s focus on acting.

“What brought you into movies?” the reporter asked Timberlake in Russian, according to an English translation of the verbal exchange by The Washington Post.

While Timberlake, a six-time Grammy Award winner, was receiving a delayed translation through an earpiece, Kunis took the liberty to answer the question for him.

“What?” the actress asked as Timberlake struggled to keep up with the Russian dialogue.

“What would you rather him do?” asked Kunis, according to the Washington Post. “What sort of question is that? Why are you here?”

The reporter defended his question, according to CBS.

“I’m doing my job,” the reporter said.

However, Kunis was not willing to let the issue go.

“Well, he’s doing his,” Kunis said.

While Timberlake struggled to keep up, CBS reports that Kunis’ real life performance was received with laughter. Once Timberlake began to understand the conversation with the help of his earpiece, he joined in.

“She’s my bodyguard,” he said while pointing to his co-star.

Although Kunis had an issue with the reporter’s question at the promotional press conference, some have had issues with the movie’s message. Ron Luce, founder of Teen Mania Ministries and author of the book Friends Without Benefits, said the movie industry is more concerned with shocking people than creating a positive impact.

“This movie is just another picture of what the media industry does,” Luce said of the film in an interview with The Christian Post last week. “Honestly, they don’t give a rip about any morals or values that they are projecting and who is watching. It’s about whatever pushes the envelope in movies like this one.”

Although the film has received criticism, it took in $18 million from ticket sales during its first week. The pair are continuing their promotional tour in London this week, according to MTV reports.
