Miley Cyrus Controversial Photos Surface

Miley Cyrus recently released controversial photographs taken by famed photographer Terry Richardson, causing some to speak out about the 20-year-old singer.

Cyrus, the 20-year-old former Disney Star who has recently flaunted her rebellion, appeared on the 48-year-old photographer's website, Terry Richardson's Diary. In a number of images, Cyrus is scantily clad and making suggestive poses.

While both Cyrus and Richardson posted some of the images on their Twitter accounts, some high profile people did not appreciate her risque photo shoot. Chrissy Tiegen is a swimsuit model who recently appeared in her husband John Legend's "All of Me" music video in the nude.

However, she is not a fan of Cyrus' most recent photo shoot and posted an image of one of Richardson's photographs of the singer to voice her opinion.

"My (expletive) wouldn't stand for this," Tiegen tweeted.

Roseanne Bar, the comedian and actress, also took to Twitter to scold Cyrus for her recent behavior.

"YOU ARE BEING USED BY PIMPS. #listenupgirl #amandabynes was also abused," Barr wrote in a tweet that was later deleted, according to E! News.

Sinead O'Connor, the Irish singer-songwriter, also wrote an open letter to Cyrus along the same lines recently.

"I am extremely concerned for you that those around you have led you to believe, or encouraged you in your own belief, that it is in any way 'cool' to be naked and licking sledgehammers in your videos," O'Connor wrote to Cyrus. "It is in fact the case that you will obscure your talent by allowing yourself to be pimped, whether its the music business or yourself doing the pimping."

While Cyrus has caused controversy for her suggestive dancing during the MTV VMA's and appearing nude in her "Wrecking Ball" video, the singer's father Billy Ray Cyrus is standing by his daughter.

"Miley's a really smart, young lady. She's a very creative artist," the Cyrus patriarch said of his daughter on "The Queen Latifah Show." "You go through, you make your music, you make your art, and there comes a time where you have to figure that out yourself. You can't really count on someone else to give you that lesson."
