The Texans are in tremendous form coming into this week 5 match up, beginning the season with a 4-0 record, and sweeping aside all comers so far.

Meanwhile the Jets look in serious trouble and their hopes for the new season could easily fall apart before their eyes in the coming weeks if they do not fix some glaring problems in their game. The Jets are currently 2-2 but they were crushed 34-0 by the San Francisco 49ers in week 4 and that result will have drained the entire team of their confidence.

That means coming into this game the Texans are huge favorites to maintain their unbeaten start to the season, despite the Jets having home advantage.

The Jets until now have arguably fielded the worst offense in the NFL, where as the Texans have probably been one of the league's best defenses. It all adds up for potentially a long tough night for the Jets.

The Texans will look to continue their efficient run-orientated offense with Arian Foster, and if the Jets do not make some massive changes to their game they will be ripped apart. Rex Ryan's defense allowed 245 rushing yards in their recent 34-0 loss.

The best bet for the Jets would be to keep things tight, and they should not take risky pass opportunities in this match up. The Texans have a fierce pass defense, and they can cause significant damage to opponents even with their interception efficiency. Houston did let through 141 rushing yards to Chris Johnson in week 4, and that may be the best chance the Jets have of causing some damage to the Texans' defense.
