Motorola Droid Turbo 2 Update: The First Model Available Via Moto Maker, To Be Launched Next Month?

Motorola is gearing up to release a sequel device and it's called the Motorola Droid Turbo 2. According to Android Guys, the Turbo was deemed to be among the best Android offerings for 2014. It came with specs that were outstanding in measure and was brought to life by a hefty battery. But what will this mean for Turbo 2?

It may seem like there's pressure for Motorola to make sure to bring a sequel that will top its predecessor. But after a year from the release of the first Turbo, the second model is expected to be announced on Oct. 15 already and is speculated to arrive by Oct. 29 exclusively through Verizon Wireless, as noted in Venture Capital Post.

Turbo 2 is also reported to be the first Droid model that will be available for purchase via the Moto Maker, which is a brand-unique platform that allows its consumers to customize and personalize their phones. Using the Moto Maker, customers will be able to select elements like the back plate design and accent colors. The customers can also have a one-time design replacement deal if they order their Droid Turbo 2 through the Moto Maker site. This means that they will be able to do a design overhaul without charge within two years after purchase.
