'Mr. Robot' Season 2: Things Are About to Take a Rocky Turn

"Mr. Robot" season 2 is expected to present tougher problems compared to those in season 1, the show's creator revealed.

"Mr. Robot" creator Sam Ismail recently teased that the second installation of the series will present a darker turn of events. Rami Malek echoed Ismail's remarks and said the next season will be more difficult for his character Elliot, according to Christian Today.

Carly Chaikin, who plays Darlene in "Mr. Robot", said she wants to see Elliot cultivate a deeper relationship with her character. She also suggested that Elliot will become closer with Mr. Robot in the second season, the report details.

Aside from that, Chaikin revealed that "Mr. Robot" season 2 would shed more light on the making of FSociety, TV Series Finale (TSF) reports.

Malek, on the other hand, wants to have more time to eat and change his clothes in "Mr. Robot 2." He added that he wants the flashback scenes of Frankie Shaw's character Shyla to be lessened.

Christian Slater will reportedly still be Mr. Robot in the next season. Previously, the viewers found out that his character is actually Edward Alderson, the estranged father of Elliot.

Ismail also gave a sneak peek into the end of "Mr. Robot," the report adds.

"The (movie's) story is about what happens after Elliot discovers that Mr. Robot is a deeper, alter ego," TSF quotes the show creator's statement. "We're staying on track in regards to what the end of the movie would be."

In the second season of "Mr. Robot," fans are also expecting more details about BD Wong's character White Rose to be presented. White Rose appeared in the last episode of season 1, so she is expected to play a bigger role in season 2.

"Mr. Robot" is set to return for its second season in either June or July 2016 on USA Network. However, the exact premiere date of the show's season 2 is still unconfirmed.
