'Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4' News: Three New DLC Packs Confirmed Ahead of Release Date

Bandai Namco Entertainment has yet to release "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4," the sixth installment to the hit fighting game series of the same name next year. Meanwhile, latest reports indicate that the studio, CyberConnect2, is planning to roll out a handful of downloadable content packs after the vanilla game hits the shelves.

Citing the details from the game's official Japanese website (via Yibada.com), there will be three DLCs that will be made available to download once the full game goes out to the public. The price would approximately be around 700 Yen or US$6.

The three DLCs are said to contain two Scenario Packs and one Playable Character Pack. The plan specifically mentions a 3-hour long pack on top of new costumes, combination techniques, item sets, ninja info cards, with matching voices. The new content will also likely bring some costumes found in the previous installments of the game.

Meanwhile, it is yet to be revealed which character is coming in the Playable Character Pack.

The news comes also in line with a "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" Season Pass where gamers can get the expansion contents individually or by bulk. Perks awaits for buyers of the Season Pass. The website particularly mentions of a "secret technique" exclusively offered by Bandai.

The title, which follows 2013's "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3," will be the first in the franchise to be developed for a PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC release. Previous reports indicated that it will cover the final arcs of the Naruto storyline, thus making it the last installment in the game series that is based on the hit manga written and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto.

"Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" is slated to be released February 9, 2016 in North America.
