Nashville Predators vs Chicago Blackhawks Live Stream, Start Time: Watch Online NHL Hockey 2015

It took five periods before the game was decided, but the Chicago Blackhawks come into Game 2 of their NHL playoff series against the Nashville Predators leading 1-0. The second game will still be in Tennessee and will be on April 17, 2015 at 9:30 p.m. ET.

With the home advantage with the Predators, they started off scorching in the first period of the playoff opener.

Colin Wilson opened the scoring for Nashville as he raced down the side of the ice to beat Corey Crawford only within the first seven minutes of the game. After 10 minutes, the Predators made it 2-0 with Viktor Stalberg scoring on an open goal after Crawford missed the clearance and left his post as Nashville won the puck again to double their cushion.

With only 30 seconds remaining in the first period, things went from bad to worse for Chicago as Wilson scored his second with a power play goal after slick passing from Seth Jones and a deflection after an attempt from Ryan Ellis. Wilson changed the direction of the shot to beat Crawford glove side to finish the period leading 3-0.

Things were completely different in the second period as the Blackhawks came out firing.

Niklas Hjalmarsson scored within the first two minutes of the second period as the Blackhawks crowded the net and moved the puck around behind Pekka Rinne. In the ninth minute, Patrick Sharp cut the deficit to only one goal after beautiful passing from Chicago from the ends of their attacking zone ended with Sharp having a close attempt. He scoffed the first shot but got his own rebound to put the game close.

Their persistence paid off in the 14th minute as Jonathan Toews scored the team's second power play goal after Patrick Kane's pass gave Toews a good lane to shoot the puck. He would then simply come closer as he was unmarked and sneak it in the glove side of Rinne.

With the game on the line, both teams pushed hard but failed to score in the third period, and eventually leading to a second overtime period to decide the winner.

Duncan Keith scored the winner in the eighth minute of the second overtime after Nashville gave up the puck on their zone and Marian Hossa passed it up to Keith who shot from the blue line and give Chicago a 1-0 lead in the series.
