NBA Free Agency Signings News in 2016: Troy Daniels to Grizzlies, Harden signs Rockets Extension

NBA's stars have finally decided where they want to go. Teams are now trying to make roster moves in light of these decisions.

Oklahoma City needs to live up to the reality of losing their franchise player. The same goes for Miami, whose star player Dwyane Wade left for Chicago. Golden State, super team that it is right now, still needs to decide which free agents they want to include in their club.

At this stage, the NBA free agency is all about veteran free agents, trade rumors, and chasing after the top players remaining. Here are the latest NBA trade and free agency moves.

1. Grizzlies acquire Troy Daniels

Using a sign-and-trade deal, Charlotte Hornets sends shooting guard Troy Daniels to the Memphis Grizzlies. A sign-and-trade agreement is when a potential free-agent signs with his team and is then immediately traded, allowing that player to get bigger pay.

Troy Daniels averaged 5.6 points, 1.3 rebounds and 0.5 assists per game, but his most notable stat is his three point shooting percentage at 48%.

Daniels gets a 3-year, $10 million deal with the Grizzlies.

2. Larry Sanders may play with Cavs or Warriors

Free agent Larry Sanders hinted through a Twitter tweet that he might be playing for the Golden State Warriors or the Cleveland Cavaliers.

For now, this is pure speculation though, because Sanders posted a picture from the movie "The Warriors," then after an hour, posted another picture of a Cavalier.

Sanders last played for the Milwaukee Bucks on the 2014-15, where he averaged 7.3 points, 6.1, rebounds, 0.9 assists, 1.0 steal and 1.4 blocks per game.

Sanders didn't sign with any team during the 2015-16 season because he said he was dealing with personal issues, including anxiety and depression during that time. In a The Player's Tribune video, Sanders said, "I love basketball; I'll always be playing basketball. But for it to be consuming so much of my life and time right now, it's not there for me."

Alex Kennedy, managing editor of Basketball Insiders, tweeted https://twitter.com/AlexKennedyNBA/status/751133616546123776 that Larry Sanders is in California, working out, and a couple of teams are intent on signing him.

3. Harden Signs Rockets extension; 4-year, $118 million deal

James Harden is looking to cement his legacy as a Houston Rocket, extending his contract for 4 more years worth $118 million.

Harden said, "That's one of the reasons why I wanted to lock in for these next four years, so I could focus on my legacy and focus on winning and doing unbelievable things here that haven't been done in a long time."
The last time Houston became an NBA Champion was in 1993-1995 seasons, back-to-back victories led by Hakeem Olajuwon as back-to-back finals MVP as well.

The Rockets are looking to start anew after a disappointing season, where they were ousted in the first round by the Golden State Warriors.

Houston has a new head coach in Mike D'Antoni and new free agent signings Ryan Anderson and Eric Gordon. Dwight Howard has left as well; he will play for the Atlanta Hawks this coming season.

4. The best remaining free agents

Here is a list of the best free agents that have yet to sign with a team: Dion Waiters, J.R. Smith, Jared Sullinger, Jordan Hill, Greivis Vasquez, Donatas Motiejunas, Luis Scola, Terrence Jones, Meyers Leonard, and Mario Chalmers.
