NBA Trade Rumors: Jeremy Lin to Be a Chicago Bull?

In one of the most interesting topics about "Linsanity," new reports suggest that the undrafted, unwanted Jeremy Lin may be on his way to Chicago.

Months back, Mark Medina of the Daily News tweeted that he was informed of several teams interested in taking in Lin, including the Chicago Bulls. Other teams he mentioned then were Dallas, Memphis, Indiana, San Antonio, and the L.A. Clippers.

While Lin hasn't spent a lot of time with the Charlotte Hornets, who acquired him earlier this year, not to mention his short stint with the L.A. Lakers, it isn't surprising to see him in the list of names to possibly be traded this season.

Last Tuesday night's game against the Bulls gained the attention of NBA fans as Lin's 19 minutes in the court gave him 15 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists. He has just come off the bench so far in the season but he has become a good helping hand for his team with an average of 12.8 points, 3.8 assists, 3 rebounds, and 0.5 steals per game.

Coach Steve Clifford has initially planned for a good position for Lin, but several outlets suggest that Kemba Walker has messed up the plan as it seems he is looking to go with the ball solo.

Several outlets suggest that if the Hornets decide to let Lin go for the Bulls to take in, the team will get a good shot at regaining his amazing momentum as a point guard as the Bulls are reportedly in need of a decent backup point guard at the moment.

Sportige finds interest in Lin's gameplay, with an article that suggests that the Hornets should reconsider giving Lin more time minutes so other teams don't take advantage of his talent. "The Hornets overall look better when he [Lin] plays. The Hornets have problems in creativity and offense in general off the bench, but treating Lin like an upgraded bench player isn't going to help the Hornets pick up the pace," the article reads.

Christian Today also says Lin's possible transfer to the Bulls could actually give him a good number of talented players to back him up, including Jimmy Butler, Joakim Noah, and Pau Gasol.
