'NCIS Los Angeles Premiere' Spoilers, CBS Start Time: NCIS Spin-Off Transferred to A New Schedule, Hetty's Trip to Washington

Big and deep troubles are set to happen in the world of "NCIS: Los Angeles" when it returns for its sixth season with its premiere episode entitled "Deep Trouble, Part 2." Just like some of CBS' prime-time shows, NCIS:LA will now be airing on its new Monday night schedule at 10/9c time slot.

"Callen and Sam are trapped in an armed submarine that terrorists have aimed to hit an aircraft carrier in San Diego. Meanwhile, Hetty defies orders and forgoes her trip to Washington, as the team tries to locate and save Callen and Sam and prevent the terrorist attack, on the sixth season premiere of NCIS: LOS ANGELES, Monday, Sept. 29 (9:59-11:00, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network,'" the synopsis read.

As cited by NCISLA-Source.org, Hetty Lange's (Linda Hunt) trip to the capital could mean a huge danger for the Special Agent when the show returns.

The site quoted executive producer Shane Brennan during the Fall Preview Q&A.

"The story takes Hetty to Washington, where she faces some very hostile questioning from a Senate committee trying to get to the truth of what happened in Afghanistan and whether Hetty was acting outside her job description, so to speak," he explained.

"And then we discover there's more to this, that in fact Hetty is being targeted by someone. And that actually puts her life in danger," the showrunner added.

As later revealed in an exclusive promo, it does look like that this "someone" has finally gotten his target.

Meanwhile, Chris O'Donell's G. Callen and LL Cool J's Sam Hanna are held stuck with two terrorists on a submarine that's been turned into a torpedo.
