'NCIS' Season 12 Spoilers, Cast News: New Episode Features Teenage DiNozzo

This week on the hit crime investigative TV drama series "NCIS" Season 12, fans will see a younger version of DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) on his way to attend the military prep school.

In episode titled "Cadence," guest star Tanner Stine will play as the young NCIS Special Agent. Speaking with TVLine, executive producer Gary Glasberg said that the throwback scene of DiNozzo won't only help solve the episode's mystery but will also offer insights on who he really is.

"I think we captured the essence of who Tony may have been when he was younger -- and any time that we can give continued insight into young DiNozzo, it only informs who he is today," Glasberg said.
