On the other hand, things have been tough for Orlando City as they have failed to win in their last five league games and have only won one in their last 10 matches in the MLS.
They recently had heavy defeats in the hands of Toronto FC (4-1, 5-0) and the Seattle Sounders (4-0), while recently getting a point in a 1-1 draw against the Chicago Fire.
The two teams met last at the Florida Citrus Bowl back in May, resulting in a 2-2 draw after Charlie Davies and Kelyn Rowe gave the Revolution a 2-0 lead with less than 20 minutes left in the game.
However, Orlando City found a way to fight back despite the big deficit, with Cyle Larin scoring only four minutes after conceding the second goal, before Aurelien Collin scored in the final minute of regulation time as they ultimately shared the spoils.
This is their final meeting of the regular season in a pivotal game for both teams as a New England win may bring them closer to the top three of the division, while an Orlando City win can help build a bigger gap between them and the Montreal Impact, while slowly eating away at the lead of New England in the standings.
