New on Netflix January 2015: 'Friends,' 'Mean Girls,' 'Cast Away' and More
With the start of the New Year comes new releases on Netflix. The streaming service has a lot in store for movie and TV fans everywhere as it has just announced the shows and films which will be making its debut on Netflix by January 2015.
Fans of "Friends" will be happy to know that they can hang out with Ross, Rachel, Monica, Chandler, Phoebe, and Joey and binge watch all 10 seasons of the show starting January 1. Meanwhile, a big favorite—"Mean Girls"—will be making its return to the Netflix on the same day. And before seeing Ben Affleck's portrayal of Batman in "Batman v. Superman," fans of the character can watch George Clooney as the Caped Crusader in "Batman & Robin" which also stars Chris O'Donnell, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Uma Thurman and Alicia Silverstone.
On the same month, viewers can also watch Tom Hanks as a Fed Ex executive who crash lands on a deserted island and copes with his new surroundings and the crushing loneliness in his own way in "Cast Away." Those who want a few laughs can watch "Wayne's World 2" starring Mike Myers, Dana Carvey, Christopher Walken and Tia Carrere in this 90s comedy adapted from Myers and Carvey's "Saturday Night Live" sketches.
