The New Orleans Saints will play the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday as both teams look to get their new NFL seasons off to a positive start. Today's big game takes place from the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Georgia, and will start at 1 p.m. ET. The game can be watched on TV on the Fox network or online through free live stream (details below).

New Orleans will have high hopes coming into the new season; they made the Playoffs last season, recording an impressive 11-5 record. They went on to defeat the Philadelphia Eagles before losing to the Seattle Seahawks in the Playoffs.

Quarterback Drew Brees was one of the main reasons for their success; he recorded 5,162 yards and 39 touchdowns with 12 interceptions, and he will be hoping to replicate that good form again this season.

His main targets in the team was tight end Jimmy Graham, who caught 86 passes for 1,215 yards and 16 touchdowns.

Their defense was also one of the most impressive in the league, ranking fourth in the first season under new coordinator Rob Ryan. They have also added free safety Jairus Byrd to their roster, and that should give them even more options.

The Falcons were pathetic last season, and they will be desperate to do significantly better this term. They finished 3-13 last year, but have since added guard Jon Asamoah, defensive end Tyson Jackson, returner Devin Hester, and first-round pick Jake Matthews to their line-up.

However, things have not been all positive for them this close season. They have already suffered a few big injuries, including left tackle Sam Baker (ACL) and linebacker Sean Weatherspoon (Achilles) for the season.
