New PlayStation Games for Feb. 21: 'Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin,' 'Ys Origin' and 'Malicious Fallen' Lead the Pack

PlayStation 4 (PS4) and PS VR owners are in for a real treat this week as Feb. 21 onward is packed with highly anticipated titles that are sure to appeal to each type of gamer. From remastered classics to point-and-click puzzle games, players are in for hours of exciting play.

The week's "The Drop" features two PS VR and 12 PS4 titles, and "Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin" is one of the most-awaited games. Contrary to its predecessor which was a 2D platformer, the upcoming installment immerses players in virtual reality (VR) as they fill in the shoes of Raz, a new psychonaut who uses both telekinesis and pyrokinesis to solve puzzles and save Truman Zanotto. The title aims to bridge the gap between "Psychonauts" and the future sequel "Psychonauts 2."

Another title worth watching out for is "Ys Origin." Originally a classic 2006 game by Nihon Falcom, it follows the story of the twin goddesses Reah and Feena who are nowhere to be found, with which their absence would mean the fall of Ys. The player controls Yunica, a melee fighter, or Hugo, a magic-wielder, to search for the missing goddesses and bring peace back.
