New York Knicks vs Miami Heat takes place in the NBA on Thursday night at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida with the Knicks looking to come out of a recent slump following their fantastic opening to the season. The game is scheduled to tip off at 8 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).

The Heat will face the Knicks tonight having secured a record of 12-4 so far this season. They have been unbeatable at home so far this season boasting a record of 8-0, making the American Airlines Arena a fortress. They have swept the floor with the Boston Celtics, the Denver Nuggets, the Phoenix Suns, the Brooklyn Nets, the Atlanta Hawks, the Houston Rockets, the Milwaukee Bucks, the Cleveland Cavaliers and the San Antonio Spurs so far, and will be looking to add the Knicks to that list tonight.

Meanwhile the Knicks come into this game with a record of 13-4, however, it is their on the road form that has betrayed them so far this season. On the road they have a record only just above .500 at 5-4. If they cannot resolve their traveling problems then it could seriously undermine their season and pull back a lot of their good work at Madison Square Garden.

There isn't currently a worse place to travel to when you are suffering on the road, and the Knicks will be really up against it tonight in Miami.

Most pundits have the Heat written down for the win tonight, and Miami are favorites to become the fifth team to beat New York so far this season, adding to the Memphis Grizzlies, the Dallas Mavericks, the Houston Rockets and the Brooklyn Nets.
