Newsong Holds Family Fun Concert with Jana Alayra

Jana Alayra, an artist who is, as one emcee put it, "as real as they get," has been spreading her enthusiasm and love for Jesus Christ throughout the nation since the 20th century. She will be making a stop at Newsong Community Church on Feb. 12 for a family fun concert.

Newsong is opening its doors to the public and encourages families to join for a day of Fun Food Faire and Christian music with Alayra.

As a wife and mother, Alayra is someone with whom many can identify. She leads a unique ministry of worship, appealing to both adults and children alike. She is not only recognized for her music, but many find her sincere love for Christ inspiring.

"When people leave one of Jana's concerts or testimonials, they often say that not only were they entertained and encouraged, but they felt they made a new friend," stated her Web site.

Alayra has shared her testimony, music and enthusiasm with families nationwide. Many testify that they are deeply touched by her ministry.

With husband Ron as the producer, Alayra is now out with her third children's CD entitled "Believin' On."

Newsong's Fun Food Faire begins at 3 p.m. and sanctuary doors open at 3:30 p.m. Tickets online are $5 for kids and adults and $7 at the door.
