Nexus 5 Rumors: White and Black Press Renders Leaked, November 1 Launch Date Revealed?

Many of the Nexus 5 rumors have confirmed the existence of both black and white models of the device and now a new report leaked what is said to be press renders of these versions.

The new images of the white and black Nexus 5 models were posted up by @evleaks, a site that has been pretty reliable concerning news on these types of products in the past.

The white model in @evleaks photo is similar to the one spotted recently on an alleged Nexus 5 retail box earlier this month. The only part that is white on this version is the back plate. The front looks almost identical to the black model.

The site also posted up a tentative release date for the Nexus 5, which was revealed to be Nov 1. This seems to line up with a previous rumor stating that Google will finally unveil the smartphone on Oct. 31 as it could become available the very next day.

These images closely resemble ones that were leaked by MobileSyrup earlier this week. They even feature the same wallpaper on the screen. Various publications have reported on leaks of the device and many of them all featured handsets with the same exact design. This basically confirms how the Nexus 5 will probably look before it officially launches later this month.

The Nexus 5 is expected to be released alongside the new Nexus 10 tablet and Android 4.4 KitKat software. Both the tablet and the software have popped up in various leaks recently. The Nexus 5 and Nexus 10 will most likely come with Android 4.4 pre-installed and the software will eventually rollout to all other devices starting sometime next year. Many Android products are still waiting for the Android 4.3 update.
