Nexus 6 2015 release date, specs news: OS Android Marshmallow, 5.2-inch display screen, full body metal shell

In the coming month, Google will again be releasing another flagship device and this time, Chinese smartphone manufacturer Huawei is tasked to produce the device dubbed as Google Nexus 6 2015. Fans who are patiently waiting for its release are clamoring for details about the upcoming gadget but as of the moment, neither specs nor a release date have been confirmed for the Huawei's next handset, according to Stuff. Luckily, there are lots of reliable sources available that have provided leaks in the Internet sphere.

For starters, Google Nexus 6 2015 will run with the Android Marshmallow operating system which is slated to be released in the same time frame of the release of the device, reports Yibada. The features of the latest operating system include supports for USB Type-C and fingerprint scanner. This can only mean that the Nexus 6 will also possess the same feature as well.

In terms of the design, Digital Trend revealed that the overall appearance of Nexus 6 will resemble that of the iPhone 6 but with a distinct difference. Such detail originated from popular Twitter leaker @onLeaks who collaborated with uSwitchTech to come up with a video revealing renders of the Huawei Nexus 6 at different angles. The tech savvies based their renders from leaked factory schematics exposed by "trusted sources."

Leaks also suggest that the dimensions of the Android phablet are speculated to be around 159.4mm high x 78.3mm wide x 6.6 to 8.5mm curved, with an all metal shell and a 5.2-inch display screen, which means that the upcoming Nexus phablet will own a bigger screen display. The flagship device will also reportedly use a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and comprise a 21Mp rear camera.

Nexus 6 2015 is likely to come out to public by latter part of September or October 2015. Its cost may be the same or less than the previous model, Nexus 6 2014.
