Nexus 7 2013, Galaxy Note 10.1 Price Discounted by 10 Percent on NewEgg

The price tag on tablets such as the 2013 Nexus 7 and Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 have been discounted by 10 percent through a new sale.

The online retailer NewEgg.com is running a special promo that allows customers to purchase any tablets on the site at this cheaper rate.

NewEgg carries most Android slates including those made by Samsung, Asus and even lower-end Chinese companies.

This will slash the 16GB 2013 Nexus 7 price down to $206.10 and the Galaxy Note 10.1 will be available for $549.09. Users can also apply for Super EggSaver for 4-7 day free shipping.

In order to access the discount users must add the device to their cart and check out using the coupon code 'EMCWWWS22.' The promotion will end on Nov. 17.

Android Authority reported that the promo code was experiencing some issues yesterday as it stopped working.

The 2013 version of the Nexus 7 features a 7.62mm thick frame, a 7-inch LCD IPS display with 1920 x 1200 resolution at 323ppi, a 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, Adreno 320 graphics, 2GB RAM, a 5-megapixel rear camera, 1.2-megapixel front shooter, dual stereo speakers, Bluetooth 4.0, and 4G LTE connectivity.

The tablet also introduced Google's latest OS Android 4.3, JellyBean. The display on the Nexus 7 is 1080p which makes it the first Full HD 7-inch slate.

Specifications on the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 include a 10.1-inch WQXGA LCD display, a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 for the LTE version and a 1.9GHz octa-core Exynos 5 processor for the 3G Wi-Fi version, 3GB RAM, 16/32/64GB of internal memory, microSD support, an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front camera, Bluetooth 4.0, USB, 2.0, S-Pen and a 8220mAh battery. It will also come running Android 4.3, JellyBean out of the box.
