Nicki Minaj Deletes Twitter After Battle With Fans; Father Upset With Rapper's Allegations

Nicki Minaj, 29-year-old rapper, has reportedly engaged in a Twitter battle with her fans that has resulted in the deletion of her account. The rapper has also been having a disagreement with her father about their past abusive relationship.

Minaj's issue with fans began when a group of Twitter followers reportedly leaked some of her music online. The rapper told her fans on the social media that she was upset with the creators of the NickiDaily.com website on Sunday after they featured some music on their website that had not been purchased.

"Like seriously, its but so much a person can take," Minaj told her 11 million followers on Sunday before closing her account. "Good (expletive) bye."

However, Minaj's fans reacted to her deciding to leave them on the social media network.

"Nicki Minaj deleter her Twitter," one person tweeted. "It's like World War 2 all over again."

Another fan did all but beg the singer to come back.

"Hey Nicki Minaj, why did you have to go and delete your Twitter," the fan questioned "We miss you."

Still, Minaj was receiving other negative publicity after her father decided to come forth about claims made about him in a recent interview. In an interview on "Nightline" Minaj said she wanted to kill her father Omar when she was a child due to his abusive past as a drug addict.

"I wanted to kill [my dad]. I used to wish he was dead," Minaj said in the interview. "We were afraid for my mother's life because whenever he would have a real bad outburst he would threaten to kill her."

However, her father denied these reports. Sources told TMZ that Minaj exaggerated her father's treatment, and that he was hurt by the allegations.

Despite the amount of coverage Minaj had in the news, she did not respond to anything on Monday after her Twitter account had been deleted less than 24 hours before. Fans thought it was the wrong public relations move for the budding star who just released her album, "Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded."

"Nicki Minaj picked the wrong day to delete her twitter account," a fan tweeted. "2pac is getting all the news coverage today."
