A Nintendo NX Patent was Discovered Online

A patent by Nintendo, regarding their Nintendo NX, was discovered and it looks like the gaming console will have more surprises.

It looks like the Nintendo NX might feature a controller with a detachable D-Pad. This means that users can replace buttons, d-pads and analog sticks to make the NX controller fully customizable. The patent gives credibility that the Nintendo NX may be portable all along.

The patent was allegedly found by users on Reddit. The patent they found revealed that the Nintendo NX controller has parts that can be swapped with other parts. The public patent was reportedly edited and updated since it was previously submitted in 2013.

Some of the attachments were images of the patent and it looks like the D-Pad and other controls of the Nintendo NX can be replaced and swapped with other buttons, Nintendo Life reports.

The interesting concept may give past reports of the Nintendo NX being customizable and truly unique some credibility. IGN noted that Nintendo has filed another patent application for a new handheld device and controller add-ons as well. While this further fuels the rumors, it is not clear if these patents and concepts will appear in the final Nintendo NX gaming system.

Nintendo NX Hardware, Software Rumors, Release Date
The Nintendo NX is said to have superior software and hardware. Express reports that Nintendo's upcoming console may house an NVIDIA Tegra mobile chip. It will reportedly be used to give the console great graphics, while being power efficient.

The outlet explains that the processor might render it unable to be backwards-compatible with Nintendo's Wii U, but can do so for older game titles. If the reports are true, Nintendo is not taking some pointers out from Microsoft's Xbox One which is capable of playing older Xbox 360 titles. Furthermore, there is a possibility that the Nintendo NX can support mobile games including Miitomo, Fire Emblem and maybe Pokémon GO. Nintendo may be bringing more games to the NX in order to stimulate the interest of gamers.

Nintendo NX was first unveiled by the Japanese gaming company in March 2015 and it is scheduled to be launched by March 2017. Nintendo has not released any official announcements regarding the console for now.
