Before the release of "Dragon of The North" DLC, players will first get their hands on a couple of free updates. The first one will arrive late March.

This update primarily adds high-difficulty missions to "Nioh." There are 10 types of missions, one described to be included missions "with the feel of boss rushes."

The second update, releasing late April, will finally add long-awaited player versus player to the game. It is unclear if it will roll out along with the "Dragon of The North" DLC.

The next "Nioh" DLCs that will follow is called "Japan's Best Warrior." The third is titled "Peaceful and Tranquil." No release date is set for these yet.

All DLCs are included in the $25 Season Pass for "Nioh," which also includes a couple more expansions — Defiant Honor in which players "fight in the bloody Winter Campaign of the Siege of Osaka" and Bloodshed's End, in which gamers "bring the Siege of Osaka to an end during the Summer Campaign."

In other related news, a player by the name Distortion2 has set a world record for completing "Nioh" in just a little over one-and-a-half hour.

Distortion2 also happens to be the third-place world-record holder for "Dark Souls 3." He also blew through "Resident Evil 7" without a hitch, landing in second in the Any% category. Players can watch how he beat "Nioh" in less than two hours in the video below.
