Nostalgia & Stephanie Past Revelation in Oct. 15 Episode 'Old Time Rock & Roll' of 'Grey's Anatomy'

The October 15th episode of "Grey's Anatomy" titled "Old Time Rock 'n Roll" will bring some nostalgia and the good times just like the wonderful song. It will have the hallmark of Season 1 to whose roots this season seems to be returning. It is going to be emotional, intense, yet comic and heart-warming.

The official synopsis from ABC is as follows: "Owen suggests the interns learn a vital lesson on how to break bad news to patients' families, and Arizona's 90-year-old patient reassures her that she's destined to find love again. Meanwhile, the sisters completely forget about the dinner party they're hosting for everyone."

Viewers can glimpse a load of comic moments in just this one single situation - the sisters forget to plan a dinner party that they're hosting for everyone and this literally lands them in a soup.

In the meantime, Owen, played by Kevin McKidd, will be teaching the new interns the all-important "vital lesson on how to break bad news to patient's families." When a 90 year old senior citizen checks in, Arizona will spend time with her and the patient tells her that it is part of her destiny "to find love again." Maybe this type of positive thinking can rub off on Jackson and April as they struggle with their relationship and are thinking about getting a divorce.

Fans will also get to know more about Stephanie. It was originally April who had brought Stephanie and Jackson together. But Jackson dumps Stephanie and married April in a surprising turn of events.

Jerrika Hinton, who plays Dr. Stephanie Edwards, spoke about what was in store for her in Season 12. Her fans will be happy to know that she will find love this season. Also, her life before she joined the Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital will be revealed.

Hinton said, "As she continues to find her way in the world of Grey Sloan, you'll find out more about her and where she comes from - how and why she's in this place, and why she is the kind of person that has no compunction about speaking out about what she feels is right."

Speaking with People, Hinton revealed that Stephanie will become interested in someone but says that her fans should get to know more of her than just her love life.

"As an actor, I feel very fortunate that I get to explore her on a human level and not just through the product of her being someone's love interest," she said.
