It's an elite battle at the Chesapeake Energy Arena as the Oklahoma City Thunder host the Los Angeles Clippers in the National Basketball Association.

The matchup is on March 31, 2016 at 9:30 PM ET.

Both teams have already locked up their places in the playoffs but expect them to take this challenge seriously as it helps them get the momentum they need heading into the playoffs.

Furthermore, these two have built a rivalry as two of the best teams in the West and getting a win over the other is always something each team is looking for.

The two teams have already battled three times this year, and the Thunder hold a 2-1 season series lead after winning the first game 100-99, before the Clippers bounced back with a 103-98 win in the second matchup.

In the third, it was not like the first two clashes as the Thunder were dominant in a 120-108 win and they are now looking to win the series with another victory at home.

Now since there are only a few games left in the season, it is still unsure whether their stars will play or sit out as seen by the Thunder resting Kevin Durant and Serge Ibaka in the battle against the Detroit Pistons.

However, it should still be a great matchup between the two teams and it should be a real treat for the fans.

The marquee matchup should be at the point guard spot as the Thunder have Russell Westbrook who is arguably the most intense player in the league and takes every game seriously.

He is coming up against Chris Paul who is a complete point guard who does it all – scores, takes rebounds and is a great floor general who piles up assists in the game.
