'Once Upon a Time' Season 4: New 'Frozen' Characters Create Huge Buzz

The fourth season of ABC's hit fantasy-drama series "Once Upon a Time" was slated to premiere this coming September and fans are already clamoring for some bits and pieces on what to expect in the upcoming installment. Here's what we rounded up so far.

It has already been rumored that a number of characters from the popular 2013 Disney movie "Frozen" will appear in OUAT season 4. The speculations were strongly suggested at the TV show's season 3 finale when a mysterious character reminiscent to that of the animation film was formed from a molten blue liquid.

It was meanwhile revealed in numerous rumor mills that actress Elizabeth Mitchell is casted to play the part of a purported Ice Queen, though her exact role and name in the story hasn't been revealed yet.

The 44-year-old Mitchell was best remembered as the fertility doctor named Juliet Burke in ABC's adventure TV series "Lost."

Show creators Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz shared their insights in an interview with TVLine about Mitchell.

"She's awesome, we love her, we're so happy to have her and we can't wait for the audience to discover who she is playing," Horowitz said.

Meanwhile, Bustle reported that aside from the rumored Ice Queen, other "Frozen" characters will also appear including the younger sister Anna, to be played by Elizabeth Lail, and Georgina Haig as Elsa. Also rumored to appear in the coming installment is the roguish iceman Kristoff, whose part will be played by Michael Foster.

The publication also suggested that there's still little known information on how the sisters and the rest of the "Frozen" characters will affect the lives of the people in Storybrooke. However, their appearance will set place after the events of the movie.

The site further speculated that a wedding will take place in season 4.

"Once Upon A Time" Season 4 is set to premiere Sept. 28 on ABC.
