'Once Upon A Time' Season 5 Episode 10 Spoilers: Dark Hook Is Out For Revenge

After its brief absence on air, ABC's hit supernatural drama TV series "Once Upon A Time" Season 5 is slated to return this weekend with a brand new episode that will see Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison) and Hook's (Colin O' Donoghue) relationship gets tested like never before.

Titled "Broken Heart," the synopsis shared over at The Futon Critic indicates that in a Camelot flashback, Hook still wants to have his revenge on Rumplestiltskin (Robert Carlyle). It was previously reported that the dark version of the character will challenge Mr. Gold in a sword fight and it seems like the former will easily subdue the latter, as suggested in one of the promo clips for the segment.

In a spoiler report from Entertainment Weekly, Morrison said that as soon as Hook gets influenced by the Darkness, the character will go "straight back to his vengeful pirate-y self, pre-Emma Hook" self.

The cast member went on to tell EW that fans will see Hook operating "from the Darkness, instead of the goodness that he's fought for for so many hundreds of years." Morrison added that the Darkness within him will be taking the reins for his actions.

The summary from TFC went on to reveal that the events that took place in Camelot will catch up to the present. Fans will witness "a charged confrontation between the forces of light and dark" which will eventually affect the destiny of the major characters.

Meanwhile, back in Storybrooke, Emma's love for Hook will be tested as she tries to persuade Hook to turn away from his desire to kill Gold before she, Mary Margaret (Ginnifer Goodwin), David (Josh Dallas) and Regina (Lana Parilla) proceed on their mission to stop a mysterious force of evil.

"Once Upon A Time" Season 5 Episode 10 airs this Sunday, Nov. 29, at 8 p.m. on ABC.
