'Once Upon A Time' Season 5 Episode 18 Spoilers: Snow Pleads David To Abort Mission

Snow and David will have a tough call to make when the fifth season of ABC's hit fairy tale drama TV series "Once Upon A Time" continues this week with an exciting, brand new episode titled "Ruby Slippers."

The synopsis shared over by The Futon Critic reveals the couple's growing concern about baby Neal. Ever since they hitched on the mission to go to the Underworld with Emma, Snow and David have no access whatsoever to monitor their child.

As responsible parents, it is of their utmost concern to keep tabs on their son. With this given situation, Snow and David will come to realize that one of them should head back home to Storybrooke to be with the boy.

Since Snow has been very much involved in Emma's mission to rescue Hook, it would be highly likely that the mother will plead to her husband that he takes the responsibility of looking after for their child. However, the TFC summary indicated that it won't be that easy for one of them to just turn his/her back because they must first devise a plan to escape from the Underworld. Will it be Snow or David who will return? Will one of them succeed in their escape?

In another development, Ruby and Mulan will find themselves in Oz. Here they meet Dorothy with whom they instantly became friends with. Upon hearing Zelena's return to Oz, the three plans to confront the witch and defeat her. However, just as they are about to set their scheme in motion, Dorothy mysteriously disappears. This left Ruby to start hitting the road in search for the girl. Her mission lands her in the Underworld, where she reunites with the Storybrooke heroes.

In the clip for the episode, the sisters can be heard talking about Zelena trapping the young girl inside a mirror. Elsewhere, Hades is once again brewing up plans to stump the Storybrookers.

"Once Upon A Time" Season 5 airs Sundays, at 8 p.m. on ABC.
