What Fans Want to See in 'One Punch Man' Sophomore Season

Second season of 'One Punch Man' expected to make its debut sometime later this year

"One Punch Man's" second season still has no known specific premiere date at this point, but that has not kept fans from speculating about what they want to see and what may end up being shown in the anime's sophomore offering.

Over on Reddit, some fans have specifically expressed a desire to see the last fight currently featured in the manga to make its way onto television screens.

Fans have noted that the aforementioned fight promises to look spectacular onscreen, and many fans are holding out hope that they will indeed see it in its full animated glory in season 2.

Meanwhile, Redditor "tartare4562" wants to see what a fight between protagonist Saitama and Garou – no slouch himself in combat – would look like once it is finally animated.

What's interesting about this particular fight is that it is apparently not being treated like the main focal point of the manga just yet, meaning there are still some important details that need to be supplied before fans can really get a full sense of how epic this encounter is.

Given that this Saitama vs. Garou rivalry is still expanding, Redditor "seficarnifex" mentioned that it may end up being included in season 3 of the "One Punch Man" anime as opposed to season 2.

In a separate Reddit thread, fans discussed whether season 2 of the anime would feature 12 or 24 episodes. While some fans have pointed out how a 24-episode season could be beneficial for the show's creators and producers, many still expect that they will end up getting a dozen episodes in season 2.

The second season of the anime still has no exact premiere date, but new episodes are expected to come out this year.

More details about what different story arcs may be featured in season 2 of "One Punch Man" should be made available soon.
