Oprah's Favorite Things Show Returns to Television

Oprah Winfrey has announced that her audience's favorite "Oprah's Favorite Things" show will air during a two-hour special next month on OWN.

The "Favorites" segment was a part of "The Oprah Winfrey Show" before the talk show host retired two years ago and formed her own network, OWN.

As a giveaway special, "Oprah's Favorite Things" will air on Sunday, Nov. 18 at 8 p.m. EST on OWN, exciting fans everywhere.

"Oprah's Favorite Things" include the exclusive must-have gifts selected by Winfrey for the holiday season. This time, the show will have unsuspecting spouses of military personnel receive items from the list.

Moreover, next month's special will allow fans to go behind-the-scenes and see how Winfrey, her best friend Gayle King, creative director Adam Glassman, and a team of experts come up with the special list each year.

The highly-anticipated show is sure to include this year's hottest new gadgets, the best holiday recipes, exotic vacation destinations, and practical items, such as the latest kitchen and homewares.

Viewers of the show next month will have an opportunity to win the selected items.

On Twitter, "Oprah" fans have expressed their delight over "Oprah's Favorite Things: 2012."

"Oprah's 'Favorite Things' giveaway extravaganza will be back Nov. 18," wrote Jill. "Presumably, everyone will get 5 cars this time."

"Lucky us," posted Kathleen. "Oprah announces return of 'Favorite Things.'"

"Ahhhhh! Oprah's Favorite Things is coming back," E! News posted to their Twitter account.

The last "Oprah's Favorite Things" shows aired in two parts in 2010as a send off the "The Oprah Winfrey Show." It was then that the talk show host introduced the first generation of Apple's iPad, calling her "her favorite thing ever" and "the best invention of the century so far."

Other items on 2010's list and given to audience members were sequined Ugg boots, chicken pies, Le Creuset cookware, and diamond earrings.
