"Does Vee stay dead?" the segment's host went on to ask.

"That's a metaphysical question. That's a very big question that involves the nature of the Universe and God and I'm not sure, we don't have enough time to cover for that," Toussaint answered, appearing to dodge the question.

Vee, who was first seen in the OITNB episode "Looks Blue, Tastes Red," is an inmate at Litchfield Federal Prison incarcerated for supplying illegal drugs.

Season 2 ended with Vee getting hit by a van as she attempted to escape from prison.

Fans will soon find out the fate of Parker when "Orange is the New Black" begins streaming for its brand new 3rd season in mid-2015 on Netflix. There are still no reports indicating the exact premiere air date of the series although June or July 2015 have been touted by many reports as the likely release dates.

Meanwhile, the show has been nominated for the Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series Award for the 21st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, which will be aired Sunday, January 25 on TNT.

Stay tuned for more updates.
